Following the latest AGC BTR announcement in collaboration with City and Docklands, the team has familiarised themselves with the local area and what’s on offer near One West Point.
A New Design District
Keen to explore a more sustainable approach to design and with the development’s ESG credentials and AGC Sustainability Manifesto in mind, Senior Interior Designer Sophie has been busy exploring the area for local suppliers to use. The team were thrilled to see that the area was one of the selected Design Districts for the London Design Festival late last year. In September, more than 40 creatives from various innovative studios and workshops showcased their latest designs, products and more. Inspired by what they saw, we look forward to working with more local suppliers throughout the One West Point project.

Green Spaces to Explore
Throughout 2021, we took the time to put ourselves into future tenants’ shoes and really understand what they will be looking for in their new homes, in both their interiors and local areas. A temporary ‘want’ of outdoor space and greenery became a more permanent must-have for many tenants. Luckily for One West Point, it is surrounded by local parks, commons, and a short distance to the infamous Richmond Park. Closer to home, the new development will also house various green gardens and courtyards available to residents and visitors of the area. Local Cuisine Worth Trying
The great thing about One West Point and its location is the extensive range of local restaurants, cafes, and bars. High on our list so far is the popular Lebanese restaurant, Maroush, and artisanal coffee shop Coffeeology. On-site at One West Point, residents will have access to their own coffee shop as well as a Resident’s Bar for the perfect social hang-out zone to catch up with friends.
Shop ‘til you drop
Just a stone’s throw away, tenants will have the opportunity to visit ever seemingly popular Westfield White City. Home to a vast selection of shops, restaurants and even a cinema, the ever-growing list of amenities within the area are certainly one that will appeal to the new tenants moving into One West Point.
Whilst it has been fun learning more about what the area surrounding One West Point has to offer, this plays a fundamental part in our service offering. We devote our time to researching the area and target demographic for each project.
