CARBON REDUCTION AT AGC

Reducing our carbon footprint starts with understanding it. That’s why we continuously measure, report and act on our emissions across our operations, supply chain and product ranges.

Over the past several years, we’ve made meaningful progress, reducing operational emissions year-on-year, achieving carbon neutrality through verified offsetting projects, and becoming the first UK interior design collective to have our near-term emissions reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

But we know operational emissions are only part of the picture. The biggest challenge facing our industry sits within Scope 3 emissions, from materials sourcing and manufacturing through to transport and end-of-life impact. That’s why we’ve started taking a closer look at product-level carbon data through our Conscious Collection, helping us better understand the impact of the products we specify and where change is needed most.

From improving logistics and reducing waste to increasing traceability across our supply chain, we’re focused on making informed decisions that create long-term impact.

This is an ongoing journey, and transparency matters. Explore our articles and reports below to see how we’re measuring progress, where our biggest challenges remain, and how we’re working towards a lower-carbon future.

Our 2024 Carbon Audit, prepared by Strategy B Consulting, provides vital insight into our emissions profile and, more importantly, highlights exactly where we need to focus to further reduce our footprint.
