From Ambition to Action: Our 2025 Impact Report
How we’re turning our sustainability commitments into everyday decisions across design, sourcing and our business.
Being a responsible business is one thing. Turning that responsibility into everyday decisions is where it starts to count.
In 2025, we focused on doing exactly that. We looked more closely at where our biggest impacts sit, strengthened how we measure our carbon footprint and introduced practical ways to bring sustainability further into how we design, source and work with our partners.
Our latest Impact Report shares the progress we’ve made, the challenges we understand more clearly and the actions shaping what comes next.
There’s plenty we’re proud of. There’s also plenty still to do. And we think being open about both is an important part of making progress.
Things We Are Proud Of
Completed our first Stakeholder Analysis and Double Materiality Assessment, helping us identify the environmental, social and governance issues that matter most to our stakeholders and our business.
Strengthened our carbon measurement, working with a new carbon footprint partner to measure our full Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas footprint in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
Reduced our reported Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 45.5%, from 91.9 tonnes CO2e in 2024 to 50.09 tonnes CO2e in 2025, alongside improvements to the accuracy and consistency of our carbon reporting.
Achieved carbon neutrality for our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, compensating for 50.09 tonnes CO2e through independently verified climate projects while continuing to prioritise emissions reduction.
Launched Designing Kinder with Purpose, our practical framework for bringing more responsible choices into specification, procurement and client conversations.
Continued growing our Conscious Collection and circular design initiatives, putting 3.3 times more furniture into rental projects and extending product life through repair, refurbishment and donation.
Raised £18,000 for charity through furniture donations and fundraising, including £15,000 generated through furniture donations alone.
Continued supporting emerging design talent through our partnerships with KLC School of Design and United in Design.
Strengthened supplier engagement and responsible sourcing, introducing one Supplier Onboarding & Sustainability Survey across our supplier categories and reducing our sustainability questionnaire from more than 70 questions to 25.
Launched our Supplier Resource Hub, giving our partners practical guidance and resources to support progress across our supply chain.
Prepared for B Corp recertification under the new standards, embedding sustainability further into our long-term business strategy.
These achievements span carbon, circularity, responsible sourcing, our people and the wider design community, reflecting the broader commitments set out in our Sustainability Manifesto.
What’s Next?
2026 is another important year for AGC.
This year is about building on what we’ve learned and turning it into further action. We’ll continue working towards our Net Zero roadmap, strengthening our supply chain and making responsible choices a more consistent part of how we design and operate.
We know there is more to do, and that’s why we publish our impact: to hold ourselves accountable, share what we’re learning and keep moving forward.
